Otter Wax's Leather Salve is the perfect way to condition your harness after washing. It is easy to use and made in small batches in Portland, OR.
This deep conditioning treatment is made from a proprietary blend of natural waxes, oils, and butters. A rich blend of moisturizing shea butter and carnauba wax restores suppleness, luster, and shine to dehydrated leather and helps protect from future damage. No artificial dyes or chemicals make this treatment safe to use on all types and colors of leather.
Net Wt. 2 oz.
Once absorbed, leather will appear cloudy. Use a cloth or horsehair brush to buff to a shine and create a natural sealant allowing leather to retain moisture and nutrients. Allow 10-20 minutes to fully absorb into leather. Temporary darkening may occur. This is completely normal, and original coloration is restored within a few days.
• apply to leather using a soft, lint-free cloth
• allow leather to absorb Salve
• wait until leather appears cloudy
• buff leather with horsehair brush or flannel cloth
• reapply as often as necessary
• follow up with Leather Oil to shine

When you order a harness online, we will size your harness to order. Our harnesses easily tighten to smaller sizes, so measure around the largest part of your hips/butt to ensure a proper fit.
Our harnesses easily tighten to smaller sizes, so measure around the largest part of you and your partner's hips/butt and order the larger size, since it is easy to adjust the harness to fit a smaller body.
We designed our harnesses to fit all types of bodies. They can be worn higher, to accommodate folks w penises, or can be worn lower to rest comfortably around low-hanging bellies/fupas.
Your harness may feel stiff at first, but will soften with use and with each washing. To clean, wash gently with Otter Wax Saddle Soap. We do not recommend submerging your harness in water. Check out the Otter Wax website for more detailed leather cleaning instructions. Condition with Otter Wax Leather Salve and/or Leather Oil. Lay flat or hang to dry, with snaps un-snapped.
We love hearing your ideas for design alterations, and consider the input we get from folks when we design new products. We are a very small production operation and as such, rarely make custom one-off harnesses.
We spent a lot of time thinking about buckles vs D-rings, and have decided that for the type of leather we use, D-rings are the best option. Additionally, it provides a lower profile and eliminates pinching caused by buckles.
